My Cub Scout Days

I pledged allegiance to the flag...

Of the United States of America...

I thoroughly enjoyed being a Cub Scout...

Without all of today’s hysterica...

Our moms volunteered to lead us...

My buddies and I were in Pack 55...

It was all us boys, no girls were allowed...

Today, that would never survive...

We were taught to do our best to do our duty...

To our beloved country and to God, above...

We were taught to be strong and morally straight...

And to share with Mother Nature all our love...

We were taught to stand with respect...

When pledging our patriotic vows...

We were taught to defend each other...

With as much courage as our liberty allows...

May God always bless our America...

Land of the free, the proud and the brave...

I’m so thankful for being a Cub Scout...

And the cherished memories I will always save...
